Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey! On my 190e, the main hose that
connects to the top of the air filter
connects to the value cover, there is a
small secondary hose that breaks off and
runs underneath the airfilter housing. Mine
has become brittle and snapped. Any idea
where it goes, what it's for and if it's worth
replacing....

Most probably part of the Crankcase ventilation system, called a breather hose. Of course it's important, why wouldn't it? If one is broken, you probably have a check engine light. I order all my Euro parts from here.....https://www.fcpeuro.com/Mercedes~Benz- parts/190E?year=1988&e=608&m=847&keywords=hose
