tranny fluid

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a 1992 Dodge Dakota 5.2 V8 with the 4 speed auto which has been leaking for
quite some time and the shop said it was just the pan gasket. I'm finally replacing it
tomorrow after a year and just wanted to make sure atf+ 4 is the right fluid because we all
know how touchy dodge transmissions can be

1 Answer

Tom Demyan

Daimler Chrysler Corp. recommends that all vehicles with Chrysler automatic transmissions be serviced with ATF+4.
