Cabin ventilation

Asked by Mar 15, 2013 at 07:56 PM about the 1984 Porsche 944 STD Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Two questions actually. Steering wander and nothing but
hot air thru the vents. 84 non turbo 944

Steering wander: check the tie rod ends, and the control arms bushings make sure your tires are fairly new (cannot see lincoln's head [3/32"} with a penny as measurement) go and get an alignment. Ventillation: unique because of the air-cooled motor, not sure if this one has air-conditioning or not, but perhaps it is engaged and not-functioning....flaps are vacuum operated servos, you may want to check their operation with a sucker tool-
