Starting problems

Asked by Jun 05, 2016 at 09:59 AM about the 1989 BMW 5 Series 535i

Question type: General

I have a 1990 BMW 530 that won't start unless I
prime it through the air box and then runs normal
and when I should pick you up I still have to prime
it through the air box even if I set it up a minute
later it won't start I will check the fuel pressure at
the pressure at the rail fuel rail and has 50 to 150
PSI someone told me that might be the thermo
switch I do not know where this is and what does
that have to do with initial startup it also was
draining the battery and I put a new battery in and
it still is draining it please help desperate
