Why can't I find new Saabs??????
I have been looking online for a long time searching for Saab dealers. I want to buy a new Saab convertible.
From what I can find you can only get now if you live in Sweden, go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_Automobile They have some info on them.
G.M. owned Saab. They couldn't make any money and tried to sell it. No one would pay the asking price so Government Motors shut it down. Damn shame. They were good cars.
Saab is basically done in the states... A Business in china bought them out, but only have rights to certain models and I dnt think the convertible is one of them, so when/if they relaunch in America, they probably won't have a convertible option... I can give you a number of a dealer that used to sell Saab and you can see if they have anything leftover in stock, but I believe it has been close to a year since they closed, so not too likely...
You might want to check out Volvo. Very safe and a car. It's a bit on the high side price wise, but I believe you get what you pay for.
Very safe and a Nice car..... I meant to say
Saab went bankrupt in 2012. They were recently purchased by NEVS retaining only the Saab name and general vehicle aesthetics . Starting mid 2014 they Will release the New Saab 9-3 sedan only to the Chinese market with a strong focus on electric vehicles.
Fiat bought GM who owned Saab. Then Fiat ran the company into the ground and Saabs were not longer being made. They did sell Saab to a Chinese company and make a type of Saab for China market. They cannot use the Griffin logo or the name. If you want a high quality used Saab let me know
