Car won't start.

Asked by CarySmith Aug 27, 2019 at 04:09 AM about the 2003 Ford Escort ZX2

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Installed new timing belt and tensioner pulley, car started
fine and seemed to run better than it had since I got it
about 3 years ago. I just let it idle for a bit and gave it a little
gas to to see if it had gotten rid of the missing and rough
idle. Which it seemed to of. Did not test drive it then cause
still needed to bolt down valve cover, install serpentine belt,
and put tire back on. After doing all of the above listed
items got in it to go for a test drive and it won't start and
acts like it was before installing the new timing belt and
tensioner pulley.
