Why does my ASB come on in my 2012 camry?

Asked by Apr 06, 2016 at 10:07 AM about the 2012 Toyota Camry SE Sport Limited Edition

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While at a stop light, ASB, and emergency brake lights came on. When car is off, then started up it seems ok, but if I stop, the lights suddenly come back on. Sometimes, making it difficult to get out  of Park, to reverse or drive.

First check the brake fluid reservoir. If low, it will trigger the brake light. Your best bet after checking the fluid is to get the error codes scanned. That should let you know if you have a sensor problem or not.
