I have a 97 bmw 740I when start the motor blue smoke coming out as soon as motor gets warmer it goes away some one told me is a valve by the side of the engine need to be replaced

Is it coming out the tailpipes? Then it can be the worn rings or valves internal to the engine. Best to have your local BMW mechanic diagnose it correctly for you.
