Have a 1986 ford taurus wagon with 20,000mls. What is it worth?

$1000 tops if it's in excellent condition, half that if the interior and paint are near 8 out of 10.

If it's in excellent condition, with only 20k miles on it, it's worth more than $1000. NADA.com lists it at $2225 average retail (dealer price). But that is assuming average miles, and not 20k miles (Well below average). It's not exactly a classic car. So it depends on what an individual would pay for it.
