Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is this frame worth fixing?

You have to judge that. If the truck is pristine and low miles it is probably worth it. Unless the frame damage is minor you really should replace it.

If you have rust damage I'd say no. If the frame is bent, as in an accident, it can be straightened but the cost will exceed the value of the vehicle. Then, as FOR said, it's a judgment call. HTH. -Jim

The bend is causing the wheel to kick out.

I am not sure you have a frame problem. You may just need a front end alignment.

Looks like it was hit on that side but it's probably a control arm or driveshaft issue (if 4WD) or both. I'd suggest as FOR said, take it in for an alignment and see what they tell you. If there's any damage, frame or otherwise, they'll tell you. Hard to tell from the photos but I don't think the frame is damaged. HTH. -Jim
