Is there a kit to rebuild a rear wheel proportion valve for a 1989 Toyota P/U?

Mine is leaking. I have looked and they are hard to find. A dealer has one for
$350. I want to know is ther a way to bypass it or better still rebuild it?

Bypassing it will make almost impossible for you to brake without locking up the brakes and go into an skid, try your local hot rod shop they should have an adjustable aftermarket unit that you can adapt to your brake lines.
