When it rains engine start to split,backfire,rough running then cuts off. Replace dist.cap & rotor button still same problem.

It's either bad plug wires or a bad coil. If you want to do a quick test, fill a spray bottle with water. Start truck and mist down the plug wires. If you notice a drop in idle of you hear a snapping noise, you know your wires are bad. If no change when misting down the wires, mist the coil.
