for a week then got in it and nothing, it buzzes
before the the start position all lights come on..go

You may have bad battery connections. Make sure to clean and tighten them.

I have a1988 Toyota pickup and like the other answer make sure battery connections are tight especially the one where the starter wire is hooked directly to the positive terminal. The nut will get loose and the starter won't do anything . May not be in your case as some are a little different. Like to have drove me nuts until I found the problem. Hope this helps as I can't thin of anything else.

Hello I must be one of the lucky ones. 1986 Toyota truck Deluxe extra cab 22R carb and 244000 miles original chain and all related Parts never have changed it yet. Starts great. Even have all brand new chain and stuff in the boxes but just did not need to do it yet...

320,000 miles on the original timing chain in my 85 22R.
