87 toyota pickup 2wd starts fine then runs fine. Wont do anything when you try to restart after warmed up. Doesnt click, nothing happens when you turn the key. If you wait an hour it starts right up again. What should I check? I just replaced the starter, never did this before. Could my starter be sticking or something? Cause normally it would click or something when you turn the key.

the cables are corroded or at reduced capacity...the battery will stop taking a charge and operate at reduced capacity after only 5 years...so get new cables and new battery....if those ARE new would look to the starter solenoid connection and voltage at the solenoid~
