1986 4x4 toy truck can't figure out over heating problem

We won't be able to either till you let us know what symptoms you have and when they happen. What you all did to the truck in figuring it out?


if you pull the thermostat and run without a t-stat, it should even not begin thinking about overheating...uh oh...someone panic filled with water, then the troubles began...if you're lucky the water pump is corroded and replacing it solves the problem....but engine may have been impeded by rust and corrosion from the overheat...in my life have had two vehicles that you could make a small trip in...but flow through the block was insufficient...sea-foam is one product that one may "flush" the corrosion out with, but never have used that~ water caused this disaster....after the overheat...water should have been replaced with 50/50 coolant instead...sorry this happened~
