My Toyota pickup won't try to fire and it's a brand new engine

if it was "all put together correctly" then it would run- this is an engine with a carb, right? doesn't even have electronic engine sensors or computers to confuse you- you say it's a "brand new engine" is it really, or is it a used engine?

It is a used engine but completely rebuilt and all brand new parts. No it doesn't have a carb. And there is a lot of sensors and stuff. And it has spark and fuel pressure and has fuel all the way as well

If the new engine is the same as the old engine. Narrow down the spark. Pull the coil wire out of the distributor and take off the distributor cap. Turn the engine by hand with a socket on the harmonic balancer bolt and have someone see if the distributor shaft turns. If it does, put the cap and coil wire back on. Take off the number 1 spark plugs and wire, and hold it with a screw driver inserted in place of the plugs about 1 inch from the metal on the engine, crank it and see if you have a spark if not the coil, rotor button, distributor cap, the fuse, or the relay is worn out.
