1984 300ZX digital Dash Circuit Board Componant Value?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Would anyone out there please provide me with the resistive value of R23 on circuit board (NR 8-22681-FL7010-86)?  This board is one of two that make up the digital instrument panel from a 1984 300ZX, Limited Edition.  It is NOT the board with all of the Micro Processors, it’s the other board, the one with the two cables that connect specifically to the power section end of the board.  (One of these two cables connects to the external power supply and the other is one, of the three, white connector, that plug into the receptacle in the car).  Thanks

A resistor costs about 10 cents // but to determine what value the resistor is can cost much, much more.. Your assuming that the resistor simply "burned out" ,,, I can guarantee that resistors just don't burn out ... something shorted it out. The resistor connection is oxidized .. meaning it was subjected to water and perhaps carbon. Many Newer printed circuit boards have layers in between the top and bottom however your probably safe as 1984 may be before that began so Bottom Line is; You have to get a schematic for a 33 year old circuit board /// then you need to determine what fried the resistor /// then clean the board and replace the resistor and after you get it all back together ... pray that you found the short ... if not the reverse these instructions

I'm old school and have years of experience with component level repair. I've done all of the above and have a fair idea as to what caused the circuit board failure. The resistor is a small surface mount one and of course the numeric value cannot be read. The board is not multi-layer. It's fortunately a very robust two-layer board. Thank you.
