2013 Subaru Impreza awd starting issues.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 2013 Subaru Impreza automatic/AWD basic model. The car runs
great other than, more often than not, yet not all the time, it cranks over but
does not start until you stop cranking it, turn the key back and try again. Per
our local mechanic, it did not show any diagnostic issues. There was a loose
clamp for a vacuum hose that was tightened but still started hard the next day
after it was looked at.  Any ideas before we just start changing things in a trial
and error fashion. $$$$$. Thanks for any assistance. We bought this vehicle
new 3 years ago and drive about 30k yearly (90k on vehicle now - has been
starting hard for 6 months to a year.)

Mine did the same thing and I had to take it to the dealership for an update on the computer. There was a recall for this year. Talk to your local Subaru dealership.

Is your car still under warranty? If so take it to your Subaru dealer.
