Sliding doors on Honda Odyssey LX

Asked by Dec 30, 2015 at 10:11 AM about the 2013 Honda Odyssey LX

Question type: General

Last night we purchased a pre-owned 2013 Honda Odyssey. This is the
first mini van my husband(especially him) and I have ever owned or used
regularly. I know that the doors are manual but I really thought they would
be easier to open. They feel heavy or like they have to be greased. Of
course my husband was the one who opened and shut them when we
were looking them over and didn't think anything of it, however this morning
I went to open them and thought it didn't feel right. Like it should be
easier?? I am in no way weak by female standards and felt like an older
person may have difficulty. I just want to know if this is normal for a manual
door?

The door us automatic. You just click the handle out the inside handle us a lever and there are two buttons on the left dash and two on your fob. One button per door
