Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I turn the key and get the click at the starter relay but have no power to the starter? Any ideas will be appreciated.

Check your starter wires at the starter, to see if they are loose or bared at any point. Otherwise you might try replacing the starter. It sounds like the bendicks are locked up.

Thanks for the reply. I put a new starter and starter relay in but it still will not turn over UNLESS I put a clip on the brown wire from below the starter relay to the battery ground. It then turns over but I believe I am bypassing the computer and everything else is still shut down. Any ideas on why by adding that wire will allow the engine to turn over but not start. Thanks again for you help and any additional help will be appreciated.
