HELP !!!! no heat in 98 durango
5.2 motor, new heads, water pump, t-stat, belt, tensioner.. Will get kinda warm in the cab temp guage reads 195, pass side heater hose gets hot divers is cool till you tach it to about 2000 then gets a somewhat better but not good and hot.. I flushed the heater core water flowes fine through it.. any body have probs with aftermarket water pumps THANKS
Question about if the t-stat is right in or if it might be stuck closed. Also a question about how warm the new t-stat is. You can take the t-stat out and test it by poring boiling water over it and see if it opens.
did you tried the heater core that may be the problem
had the same exact problem its the heater core i reversed flushed it and it worked... thats the best way to remove a clog in a heater core.. good luck
