TPMS on 2013 VW Golf TDi

Asked by Jan 24, 2016 at 07:02 PM about the 2013 Volkswagen Golf TDI

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was in a car accident about 2 weeks ago, I was run off the road by a drunk
driver and I ended up hitting the curb. My front right tire and right rear tire we
hit and took it to the collision center. They told me my car is fixed but the Tire
Pressure monitor light blinks then goes solid. They tried resetting it with the
button in the glove box but nothing. What should I do?I've done some
research and im confused now. Do i take this to the dealer so they can reset
the computer in the car, or do I have to drive it for a bit to it can get adjust to
the tire pressure then reset it?

For a car as young as a 2013, I would take to the dealer, for sure. I hope your insurance covers this.
