MY AC JUST STOPPED WORKING IT WAS MAKING A SQUEELING NOISE ONLY WORKED ON HIGH THEN IT QUIT I SMELT LIKE ELECTRICAL SHORT THEN OUT COMPLETELY IN 99 DODGE STRATUS

DO I NEED TO REPLACE BOTH RISISTOR AND BLOWER MOTOR WHAT IF I DID
THAT AND IT DOESNT WORK IM KINDA SCARED BECAUSE IT SMELLED LIKE
WIRES ELECTRICAL BURNING WHEN IT WENT OUT COULD THERE BE MORE
DAMAGE THAN BLOWER MOTOR AND RISITOR

Sounds like the blower motor burned out. Once you replace it check the fuse to make sure it didn't blow. HTH. -Jim
