Oil light is on even after oil change. Only come on when the car is too hot. Too hot is a bit
about the 1/4 close to C mark. Engine sounds perfect upon start. Once it gets to that
level, the engine almost knocks, like a lifter...but not a sound when cool.

I read your last question which is the same as this and you said your mechanic told you it needed a new oil pump.

Back yard mechanic. He did no diag on it, just said oil pump. Doesn't make sense.

check oil ,may be diluted with gas from leaking injectors, if thin on checking drain and go to a straight 30 weight for body,
