I have a car with 373 gears in it and a 4 speed transmission. At 65 MPH it runs at 3200 rpm. Will driving this occasionally at this rpm for a two hour trip hurt the motor? Or should I look at a 5 speed transmission?

That all depends on how much modification was done to the engine. If it was blue printed and balanced then they should have told you what the red line should be, take that figure, cut it half and you have your engines cruise rpm's.
