I'm wondering why a 1985 Nissan 300ZX turbo automatic is $1600. that needs an alternator and battery when same year car but 5 speed needs about $600 worth of parts would be $4000. ?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am a woman and am looking for a Z car!  I don't want to get taken!  I don't
understand the difference between the turbo automatic and the 5 speed non
turbo pricing.  Can someone explain that to me?  I understand that the turbo
will cost more at the gas pump. Is it more expensive to work on?

I suggest u call a few trans places and talk to experts that do it every day. Let them tell/educate u. After talking to a few u'll understand better & maybe find one u trust. Also go to YouTube and c if u have guys there that may show it on video. Knowledge (from experts) is power, lol. Wish u well in ur education!
