Just bought a used 2013 Ford Fiesta with a single key. My car does not have the push button start. Do I need to get a programmable key, or will a blank with an empty fob case work?

Was able to fit most of the details in my question. If my car does not have a push button
start feature do I need a programmed key? I do not car about having more than one
remote lock/open/fob as long as teh spare will unlock and start the car.

If car has fob,it mean,s it most likely has a chip in key,you can have a blank key made for your lock,s and all so you can add a new fob.

Do yourself a favor. Get a second key with the chip already progamed into it. It's not cheap but it is worth it should you ever lose one.
