Lost only key to van and the security system is armed ,

Tried to remove ignition and get van started but the
security system was armed, now it starts then dies

Put the ignition back in, get a new key cut and programmed to the car. Get an extra for when you lose the first one. A local locksmith, dealership or larger auto garage can help.

Thanks Tom, the ignition was damaged , but is there anyway to disable the anti theft so I can drive the van

Sell the van.
