I have a 2001 dodge stratus r/t 3.0 it keeps over heating how do I know if the radiator fans are working

Step one turn the a/c on one of the two fans should run anytime the a/c is engaged. If no fan use a test light unplug connector at fan, connect test light to the neg side of battery one side should light the test light if system is working.this would indicate fan motor is toast. If no current to plug check fuses under hood, if good there is a cooling fan relay in the underhood fusebox there is a high/low speed relay bolted on the frame rail close to radiator. If it has failed its about 55.00 dollars. Do your home work buy once fix once.
