Was low on fuel. Now car starts after fuel
but won't stay cranked! How do I release gas
from gas line?

If you mean purge the line just turn the key on for a few seconds and then off for 10 seconds and then back on for a few seconds then back off, usually after three rounds of this it's all purged if the fuel pump is still operating at full capacity.
