truck keeps revving and slowing

WHen my truck is running and while Im driving, the engine keeps changing speeds upm and down and keeps on doing this, especially on the highway, it keeps down/up shifting due to the engine speed chaning.

Sounds like your MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is bad. But first check for vacuum leaks.

My Dakota bogs down while idling.any clue as to what it could be?

Could be a dirty or bad Idle Air Control valve (IAC) or a dirty Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF). You can try cleaning your IAC with some throttle body cleaner and you can also buy some MAF cleaner by CRC.
