When I go to turn on my van likes to shut off then
turn back on runs fine most times but sometimes
need to start it a 2nd time what could this be I'm
clueless

Could be a defective ignition switch. Does the car seem to shut off when you hit a bump or make a sharp turn? That's a jar that causes the switch to lose electrical contact.
