The battery on my 2013 Hyundai ELANTRA LIMITED GLS

Asked by CJ Nov 15, 2020 at 02:02 PM about the 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced both the upper and lower O2
sensors also had all the spark plugs changed. The
reading that I got was that the number for spark
plug needed to be changed which I did and also
bought a new coil for that plug. The core has been
changed on my vehicle also but The engine light
has came back on and the battery keeps dying very
quickly.

Let's start with looking at the fact that the battery drains quickly. Have a parts store test alternator and battery. As for the misfire in the #4 cylinder, a number of things could cause that. For example bad oil rings, seals around intake/exhaust valves, spark plugs, spark plug wires, etc.
