my blower keeps blowing the resistor how do i fix it
the lower setting won't work and only the hardest setting works. I keep replacing the
resistor but would like to fix the cause
Have you replaced the blower motor with an aftermarket one? If so, it may be drawing too much power through the resistors. My other thought on this is that this may be an inherent weak spot on your vehicle. Some GMs (Colorados and Astro Vans) do this on a regular basis. HTH. - Jim
thank you I haven't changed the blower motor yet but maybe I will try that
You're welcome. Glad to help. - Jim
was that resistor getting extremely hot?
.....wondering why mine gets so hot and fails in only hours....
