My question is can you put a new front hub assembly on either side or does it matter left or right due to weight limitation they ask if it's for passenger or driver but if it bolts up will it work the same ?

They are different, meaning the right and left, will not interchange.

If it's asking which side then there's a difference. Some vehicles use the same for both sides, others do not. Sounds like yours does not. HTH. -Jim
