2013 ford escape 1.6l ac manifold hose keeps leaking.

Asked by Guru9SXQQS Sep 30, 2021 at 11:01 AM about the 2013 Ford Escape SE FWD

Question type: General

I have replaced the ac manifold hose on my 2013 Ford Escape twice and the
original hose had the same problem . So that's three hoses. The first Hose(that
I bought from the Ford dealer) lasted a couple of days. The second hose I
applied jb weld to the part of the hose that failed and that lasted about 3 weeks.
So I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem.

1 Answer

Fixed the ac manifold hose keeps leaking. The compressor was missing a bolt on top of ac compressor so compressor was vibrating too much. The ac compressor only has three mounting bolts so if one is missing that only leave two bolts so the compressor is definetly going to vibrate.
