Humming vibration noise in the rear is the fuel pump priming to pressure the fuel system to start the car. That is normal, not sure about the clicking and thumping, is it your climate control blend doors opening and closing? Turn off the climate control after you turn off the car and see if it makes the noises when you want to start it again.

Climate control not on. The noise is coming from under car towards rear. Doesnt happen all the time. Open door and it is more like a knocking usually 3 times and stops. Also when i just insert key and do not crank get same noise.

Have you figured this out? Mine is doing a very similar thing.

Mine does the same thing and I'm looking for insight.
