Your starter may be acting up when hot. I would also replace your thermostat. When you say it won't start, is the engine turning over and just not running, or do you turn the key and nothing happens?

Why does my car hesitate? when i push the gas lightly or midly sometises it hesitate and i hear knocking, until i simi floor it. When ever i simi floor it or floor it it never hesitate. 4 Answers

The only thing i can really do to stop the hesitation and get it moving is to push the gas harder almost flooring it. I recently did a tune up and changed my air filter so i dont know what it can be
