KEYLESS GO NOT FUNCTION
Hi, I have a Mercedes Benz W166 ML350 BLUETEC 2012 year, the keyless go suddenly are not function at all, cant push button start, cant lock / unlock door by handle. I had scan with Xentry DIAGNOSTIC,but it cannot be read the data out from the keyless go control unit N69/5, it just show me the red word ' The control unit does not respond to the query from Xentry Diagnostics.' and below the red word ' Possible cause and remedies -The power supply of the control unit is not ok -The control unit is not standard equipment and for this reason it may not be installed. '
I also had check the fuse infront beside the engine and rear under the seat, that all are no problem.
Can you please help me how to fix it?
Sound like u have an aftermarket key fob I would love to see a pic of it if u have an aftermarket key fob the control unit and fuse are usually under steering wheel or the knee kick panel I only say aftermarket because to my knowledge that year mb didn't have remote start ....
How about the battery in the remote?
I have exactly the same problem. I want to replace the control module but do not know where it is located?? Under the rear seat or in the trunk under the spare??
Just happened to my car, 2012 ML350. It's the keyless go module. My mechanic getting part from Mercedes part and labor $830 :/
