Asked by Feb 02, 2016 at 09:11 AM about the 2012 Subaru Forester 2.5X

Question type: General

Car almost starts,  but just won't run. I wait
a few minutes and it almost starts.
Checked all fluid levels, all are full. What
can I check or do?

- broken wires/spark plugs/fuel filter(s) - gas in gas tank?

No. It's typical for a 4yr old Subaru battery, as parasitic drains are more common than in generations past. Yes, assuming you have fuel, it's most probably the battery...very UNLIKELY to be all 4 ignition wires broken at once nor a non- existent fuel filter!
