I have am 03 dodge stratus rt thr engine is knocking what cld it be

Asked by Apr 15, 2015 at 01:01 PM about the 2003 Dodge Stratus R/T Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1 Answer

A LOUD knock that gets faster as engine speed gets higher? Or more like a tap-tap? A very loud knock, combined with poor power could be a piston rod bearing spun, rod broken, wrist-pin on rod. All very serious. But a soft knock or tap may be not so serious.
