When I open the diver's door of my 2007 Odyssey with a key all the windows of the vehicle roll down a few inches.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How serious is this problem?  I just purchased this van from a dealer and it's still under their 30 day warranty. Should I have them fix it or just look for something different?  I haven't had good luck with electrical problems on vehicles.  Thanks for your time.   ~Bernie

The windows opening is a programmed feature especially for hot climates. If your Key fob is programmed as well, it will do this with a second push of the unlock button after you open the van. You can have this programmed out at the dealer if you want. I looked into the owners manual and could'nt find a way to do it yourself.

once will unlock the driver's door, twice will unlock all doors, and three times will unroll windows. personally I find this feature quite helpful in the summer when I'm getting ready to put the kids in the car.
