Parked car,the next morning it would not go into gear and I saw a big puddle of I think Transmission fluid on the ground. It was fine before no signs of anything.
Just because it was running one day, doesn't mean it's going to run the next. A gasket probably failed. Check the fluid, is it red? Then it's trans fluid. Time for a tow to your local garage for an estimate.
Sounds to me like your car had a stroke overnight, call the doctor!
or a line blew out, check the lines running to the rad from the transmission.
have seen many of these blow and break the pressure line into the radiator cooler. the radiator will need to be replaced along with coolant flushed and the transmission will need to be flushed and have a new filter installed.
Yep, no doubt Justin and Mark are both right but I just want to say this is what a stroke is!
