03 dodge neon wont shift into overdrive

engine light on transmission fluid level good, wont shift into overdrive error code p0700   
automatic shift

P0700 means a general fault with the transmission, and since you already lost Overdrive, I'd say that is the issue. Most times when you just loose overdrive, it's the overdrive band that burns and glazes over not allowing the trans to shift to a higher gear. If you have over 120K miles and didn't change the fluid regularly, this will happen. Stop into a local reputable trans shop for diagnosis and repair. Your probably looking at a rebuild. You might be able to save some money by installing a used one. Good Luck.

could be the solenoid pack as well, but i would def check with a shop to make sure
