So I got a new transmission the beginning of 2014,and about 6 months later the temp gauge started staying on hot but not smoking or anything I'm going to sell it but would like to fix it first any sug

Sounds like your engine is overheating, might have nothing to do with the transmission. How is your coolant level?

It's fine do you think it's a heater core or the cooling system flushed
