When I stop my car jerks and when I start driving again my rpm's are over 3. If I turn my car off and restart it , it runs normal. Any suggestions?

Instead of doing a lot of guessing have the vehicle scanned for codes most likely will tell you exactly what the problem is. Most part stores like autozone will scan for free.

I have the same vehicle and it is occurring on mine as I took up to autozone then to a shop they advised it was the transmission sensor that has gone bad is this the answer you got just curious?
