2008 Pilot lights flashing, car alarm, wont start

Asked by Sep 30, 2014 at 03:41 PM about the 2008 Honda Pilot EX-L w/ DVD 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Honda Pilot in great condition, this is the first time this is happening.  I got into my car and tried to start it, it would not turn over, the lights were flashing, the  car alarm was very faintly sounding off.  I got out of the car and put my key in the door and turned it, still would not stop.  After trying a few more times, got he car to start but still was flashing lights inside and out.  Stopped after driving a bit but when I put it in park, it will do it again.  I made it home, shut off car and it began flashing and making a soft beeping sound.  What is going on? How do I get this fixed?

I brought the car to a garage with guys who install alarms and fix cars. They said it was the battery in the car, almost dead! Plus my remote had needed a new battery as well. SIMPLE FIX! woot woot!
