Recommendation on tyre change

I have a 2012 C250 CDI. The rear tyres are 255/35 RZ18. I need to replace and
have 245/40 RZ18. Can I use these

since your rim size is the same type, it's quite possible. I would try to research the car further, however and figure out what tire specs are allowed. or call a dealer ...they should have that kind of infor
