what should i try next

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought the truck it ran rough thought maybe no
backpressure, new exhaust. Still ran rough
changed the plugs changed the camshaft position
sensor and the crankshaft position sensor.  
Noticed only half of my engine is even firing if i
disconnect the cable from the coil on 1 3 5 7 it
makes no difference im at a loss any ideas? Maybe
pcm but not throwing those codes so idk please
help

With half the engine not firing and no check engine light or trouble code P0300 (multiple/random cylinder misfire) I'd be looking at the PCM. Do you have spark or a fuel injector trigger signal on those cylinders? You may also have a bad ground that's effecting that side of the engine. HTH. -Jim
