I have replaced the cam sensor twice and no start condition exhists...have cleared codes with my scanner and still shows code P0340 with a crank but no start condition....Am stumped with 0340 code.,
Is the timing belt broke? Did you purchase the sensor from Dodge or is it aftermarket? Is the ground at the ECU good?
aftermarket CMS....really makes the difference..??
in the process of checking ground...thanks
Just provided a link that may be of help. I don't have much experience with your brand of vehicle. Always check the easy stuff first before replacing parts. Sometimes manufacturer parts are much better than aftermarket parts, but they do cost more. Best of luck with it.
Did the car run before you replace it,if it did and you bought a after market one then go to a oem
